    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a Head of Design Department (Industrial Factory Construction) who will be responsible for managing and implementing all design activities related to factories, plants, and auxiliary facilities serving Soji Electronics’ production operations. The role ensures optimal functionality, cost efficiency, schedule control, and compliance with technical standards and regulations..

    Job Details:

    1. Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage and lead the Design Department (Architecture – Structure – MEP).
    • Develop and implement design solutions for new factories and industrial facilities of Soji Electronics.
    • Take the lead in designing:
      • Overall master planning of factories and production lines
      • Factory structural systems
      • Technical systems: electrical, water supply & drainage, fire protection, ventilation, lighting, etc.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to:
    • Ensure designs meet production and operational requirements
    • Optimize investment and operating costs Review and control design documents, technical drawings, BOQ, and construction permit documentation.
    • Work with external consultants, design firms, and contractors when required.
    • Supervise construction activities from a design perspective and resolve design-related issues arising during construction.
    • Continuously update and ensure compliance with construction codes, fire protection regula-tions, and environmental standards applicable to industrial factories.
    • Lead and control design documentation; provide technical data and information to support legal procedures and explanations to authorities when necessary.
    • Prepare and submit periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) to the Board of Manage-ment.
    • Perform other tasks assigned by the Board of Management.

    2. Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in architecture / civil engineering / construction engineering or related fields.
    • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in designing factories, plants, or industrial zones. Preference for candidates with experience designing factories for Japanese companies.
    • Proven experience in managing a design team (at least 2–3 members).
      • Strong knowledge of:
      • Industrial factory design
    • Construction standards, fire protection regulations, and environmental requirements
    • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit is a strong advantage, along with other specialized design software.
    • Strong system-thinking mindset, proactive attitude, high sense of responsibility, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
    • Language skills: Proficient in English for reading technical documents, writing reports, and professional communication.

    3. Salary and Benefits:

    • Salary: Upto 40tr.
    • Allowance: lunch allowance, phone allowance
    • Bonus: annual bonus is up to 3-month salary, 2 times/year evaluation for salary review salary and bonus, bonus for Lunar Tet, New Year’s Day, 30th April & 1st May holiday, and National Day 2nd Sept.

    • Working hour: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and 2 Saturdays per month (1st and 3rd Saturday in month)
